Family Elegy is an audiovisual project as part of a seminar in 'creative non-fiction' supervised by Marielle Nitoslawska. It is a visual poem made out of evocating images.
The project brings together personal family elements within a fictional framework, where memories become blurred, images become hazy. It is a personal letter about memory and forgetting, between two spaces separated by an ocean. The images are gathered, filmed with my phone, throughout the month of February in Montreal, following the approach of a personal diary.
