
Alexandre Haldemann is a director, recipient of the Wilsdorf Prize 2021, following the completion of his Bachelor's degree in the Film Department at HEAD - Geneva.
He also engages in editing, color grading, and sound design.
In parallel, he creates musical soundscapes combining ambient music and field recordings, which are reflected in his films such as Um Tordo Batendo As Asas Contra O Vento (Locarno 2020, Winterthur 2020) and Pro Libertate Et Foedere (Winterthur 2021).
In 2022, he made the Fredi Murer‘s portrait for the Swiss Film Awards.
He worked as a cameraman-editor at the Swiss Radio and Television, as well as at HUG (University Hospitals of Geneva) for the filming and editing of surgical operations.
During the 2022-2023 season, Alexandre joined the residency program for performing arts at L’Abri-Genève.
In 2023, he began a Master’s in Film Production at Concordia University in Montreal.
